The development will, from the outset, meet the challenging technical standards for developments currently set out in the Code for Sustainable Homes, with compliance established through national and legally-binding regulatory mechanisms.

All homes constructed during the initial phases of the development will reduce their carbon emissions by a minimum of 25% over current building regulation standards. These reductions will be achieved, to a great extent, through substantially enhanced standards of energy efficiency.
